Concealed Carry Weapon

This class meets the requirements necessary for students to obtain their Washington DC Concealed Carry Weapon permit. It consists primarily of classroom lecture that covers permit protocols, general do’s and don’ts, legal issues, use of force laws, basic firearm safety and a review of basic marksmanship
The District of Columbia Concealed Carry Course allows DC residents and non – DC residents to meet all the requirements to apply for the DC Concealed Carry Pistol. This class meets and exceeds the Washington DC CCW requirements. Taught exclusively by USCCA, NRA and DC Certified Firearm Instructors, students receive a comprehensive explanation on how and when they can use their firearm for personal protection! Class is followed with live-fire exercises. This class is extremely informative! If you’re thinking of carrying a firearm in the District of Columbia, this is the class for you!

Non-refundable down payment of $50 to hold your seat. Balance is due the first day of training.

It is your responsibility to pay for your licensing fee – a debit or credit card is required for payment to the District of Columbia, Fingerprinting fee and Physical/drug screening. Certification Awarded

Course completion students will receive a certificate of completion and certification which is valid for the period of time until such time as departmental policy requires a re-certification. SPO’s will also receive a certification of completion from Archangel Global Security showing the completion and merit of completing your course.

About the Chief

Chief John Ayala is a certified instructor through the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), National Rifle Association (NRA) Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJC), Amament Systems and Procedures (ASP) and a certified law enforcement instructor in Chemical Aerosol Projectors (SABRA) 
Mr. Ayala is authorized to train and educate in the use of force, use of the 38 calibur revolver, 9mm semi-automatic pistol, expandable baton, handcuffing and oleoresin capsicum spray dispensers and arrest authority.
Mr Ayala certify citizens in DC Concealed Carry and Home Defense fundamentals and certified to teach to school, business and house of worship on how to deal with a active shooter threat.

We provide additional trainings beyond the normal that connect you with local MPD officers, establish relationships with your fellow officers within the company, and offer a better quality of work. Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Requirements


  • 21 years of age or older (18-21 with the authorization or a parent or guardian)
  • Not convicted of a weapons offense, or a felony in any jurisdiction (including a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year).
  • Not under indictment for a crime of violence or a weapons offense.
  • Not convicted within the past five years for narcotics or dangerous drug offense, a threat to do bodily harm, or for assault.
  • Not acquitted of any criminal charge by reason of insanity or adjudicated a chronic alcoholic by any court within the past five years.
  • Not voluntarily or involuntarily committed to any mental hospital or institution within the past five years.
  • Not suffer from any physical defect that would make it unsafe for you to possess and use a firearm safely and responsibly.
  • Not found negligent in any firearm related mishap causing death or injury to another person.
  • Not convicted of a misdemeanor intrafamily offense.
  • Not dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • Not a citizen of the United States who has renounced his or her citizenship.
  • Not legally blind.
  • Not convicted of two or more violations for driving under the influence within the past five years.
  • Not the subject of a civil protection order within the past five years.
  • Not convicted of Stalking within the past five years.
  • Not convicted of negligent storage of a firearm or a violation of the Firearms Registration
  • Not had a history of violent behavior within the past five years.
